ASSUPOL is SELFISH, INCONSIDERATE AND DISAPPOINTING

I have made a death claim on my policy and have not skipped any payment What ASSUPOL has done and continue to do to me is totally unacceptable. My claim was taken to validation without being told. It was then taken again for further investigation in by doing so, they called the family members even the mother of the deceased and asked her questions regarding my claim and that’s on the Friday and the funeral is on Saturday. ASSUPOL never told nor communicated with me about validation. I kept calling them over and over again till they said to me that I’ll have to wait 5 to 7 working days for the outcomes. They didn’t give me the reason of why they decided to not to pay within 24-48 hours.... Imagine waiting for money to do the funeral and then ASSUPOL decided to put it for further investigation with their rude consultants. If I did not make any follow up, how else will I know that my policy is taken for further investigation???? Why then call the mother of the deceased and the siblings to ask questions about me, their family history and their affordability????? Who does that? When I covered my cousin, you guys did not even call to ask questions that you are asking now yet when you had to claim then that’s when you ASSUPOL became flexible to ask questions. It was nice collecting premiums on my salary slip yet when you have to make a payment, they it’s not the hustle-free process!!! I have to ran after ASSUPOL now. They don’t even have the decency to be transparent to me as their paying client. I had to organise a cheap funeral for my cousin as the family can’t afford just because ASSUPOL failed to pay on time.....

I won’t let this matter rest easy, I’ll be taking legal actions against ASSUPOL. ASSUPOL is selfish and pathetic. Imagine having a funeral yet your claim will be processed after 5-7 days after their validation and investigation..... then how on earth are we supposed to bury our beloved deceased members?

And mind you, I have a life cover, funeral plans as well as the retirement annuity with this company and it has been years of service. This was my first claim

I regret ever making business with you. I want nothing to do with ASSUPOL. I wish I could cancel and break all ties with ASSUPOL for the way they handled my claim...... ASSUPOL is SELFISH, INCONSIDERATE AND DISAPPOINTING
