Assupol funeral policy

Took out an Assupol funeral policy. About 4 years ago using my mobile phone. Think it was R75 pm, and payout was R75 000 after my death. It is now R113 and as a pensioner, can't afford it. So went to cancel it last week and I can't get the money that I paid in. What a darn ******* as nothing gets told to u. So, you pay, you cancel and they keep your hard earned money. Lots of hidden facts one doesn't read about. Can't believe they rip people off like that, now I just lost R5000 as I was told that all that in the account. It is not a 'savings' sso one can't 'get the money back'. I do remember telling them at the time as I am a SASSA pensioner, I won't be able to afford it, if it increases every year. Now that is exactly what has happened. So I cancelled it but lose out on the money. Is there anything I can do about that issue?
