Assupol

<div>My daughter passed away from natural causes in September 2023. It has been very difficult to go through this process with Assupol, we thought we were in good hands and I thought my grandchildren would not suffer should something happen to their mom. The life cover proceeds have still not been released. Last year my grandchildren did not receive school reports at the end of the year due to outstanding school fees, this year they had to start school very late as I have no means to pay school fees, I myself was fully dependent on my late daughter. When my daughter took on the funeral and life cover I thought Assupol would be there for us when it mattered the most. Not once did she miss a premium as such matters are take very seriously. Assupol continued to not show any care towards my family and they have certainly not respected the deceased. I have not had time to grieve and accept my daughters passing as I am very stressed about what my grandchildren will eat and how they will go to school. I would not recommend Assupol!</div>

It is now the end of March. Six months since I submitted the claim. All required documents have been sent. Assupol has still not resolved my complaint. After six months , I am stuck again as the month comes to an end and i don't know how i will pay my Grandchildrens school fees. Assupol is irresponsible and does not care about the client. No one has been in communication to give us an update. Assupol i hope you are satisfied with your service!!

Assupol was very quick to take my late Daughter on as a client, but when it is time to pay out what belongs to the families they have endless stories! My grandchildren do not need another apology from Assupol. We need this claim to be finalised!!

Our next avenue is to approach the insurance ombudsman for help, we are getting absolutely no where with Assupol. I cannot believe that this is the kind of service offered to people. Not once did my daughter miss a premium, the lack of care is just appalling.

Assupol it is now Monday the 8th Of April, I have not received any communication that this claim is being attended to with urgency. All we keep receiving are empty promises, again total disregard for the client and the children involved in this matter. If only you can just put yourself in the clients position and actually deliver the service that you promised! it is clear that Assupol employees do not care about children or have not lost loved ones because there no compassion whatsoever here.

It is now Wednesday the 10th of April, we have been waiting for your empty promise to call since Monday. I have tried to call with no answer, my emails are not responded to. We are very much aware of our right to escalate this matter to the Ombudsman, which we have done so. Maybe then you will start caring and thinking about the children who are suffering and will not be able to return back to school today because school fees are in arrears. Thank you Assupol for proudly serving with your chaotic service

It is now the 19th of April. The External Assessor informed us that all reports and documentation was sent back to Assupol. What is now the reason for delay? when i have communicated whole heartedly that the children are in need? Really Assupol does not care!!!!

Assupol is shortly another seven months? Should my grandchildren go without school fees, winter clothes and textbooks for another seven months? You have absolutely no sense of urgency and regard for the beneficiaries!

How much Longer should my Grandchildren suffer? Why do you not care and consider the fact that Children's life's are affected here. Why do you treat loyal clients like this.
