Assupol 4sure life policy

Not me taking a life cover in 2014 while I was financially unable to. The consultant whom I cannot recall visited my office and urged me to take a 4sure life cover policy. But when I told him, I was not in good shape financially, he persuaded me by telling me that the policy was like an investment because after 10 years I will receive all my premiums back. I then took the said policy. Yesterday after finding out that I was eligible for cash back, I was so excited because I have been coughing out premiums of up to R879 per month. I excitedly contacted their offices to process my claim, only to find out that I'm only eligible for 10% of my premiums. My heart broke into so many pieces, to think, I had waited so many years to be refunded of my premiums. I will never forget the pain I felt. I then remembered how broke I was when I took that policy and the salesman persuaded me into taking it. I regret taking that policy, I am in so much pain that so much money I paid has been falsely invested.

I am in the process of cancelling this expensive policy and getting a reasonable one elsewhere. I have never been so sad in my life. 😭😭😭
