Alteration Charge.

I have been investing with Sanlam since 1st December 2012. The capital that I have put in amounts to R172,612.50. The total value of my find is only R181,190.57 so all I have gained is R8,578.07 over this period. What a joke less than 5% per year. But listen to this, now that I need to reduce the amount each month I now have to pay Sanlam an amount of R10,690.72, they call it alteration charge. What a joke. They have had my money all this time and now it turns out that I have to pay R2,112.65 of my capital to change my deduction amount. This is theft if you ask me.
