After 4 weeks, am still waiting for my money

<p>I surrendered one of my policies with Sanlam. Upon notifying them (beginning of April 17) of my intention they sent me the forms to complete and i sent all the documents requested with the completed forms. they came back and advised they would pay in 2 weeks. Last week they sent me another email requesting more info and in the email they advised that if i dont respond with in 10 business days they will assume I no longer want the money. </p> <p> </p> <p>Why not send me all this initial? is this process designed to ensure i remain on Sanlam books even though i need my money? What is the point of me even having any more products with Financial Services company that only has interest of keeping me in their book? What about the fact that i opened the policy for times like these?</p>
