A company that admits it is falling apart at the seams but that does nothing about it

Sanlam previously took 20 days to change my contact information. https://www.hellopeter.com/sanlam/reviews/into-my-3rd-week-waiting-for-them-to-change-contact-details-***

Now they've processed my two pot claim incorrectly and will not resolve the mistake.

Due to the contact details issue on their IT system, one of their consultants processed my two-pot claim themselves (manually), and provided incorrect advice and the incorrect information for SARS, which has meant resulted in almost half of the claim lost to tax processing error.

Furthermore, since Sanlam provides zero transparency on the claim, including the taxable portion, etc until it has been processed, there is no way to intercept the issue.

Now no one will take responsibility for the mistake. It appears or only option is to approach the ombudsman, and wait the 2-3 months for the investigation.

Not only will they not accept responsibility or address and correct the issue, but they do not even reply to the email complaints.

While the consultant processed the claim, they did at least share that Sanlam is in turmoil due to being completely unprepared for the two pot claim claims and admitted serious flaws in their IT systems.

Reviewer Update
There was never a follow up to this complaint from Sanlam.
I then followed up with them on Wed 18 Jun, 21:43,(12 days later. In this follow-up I reminded them of another commitment they missed.
This time they did reply, and a promised an escalation to management, on Mon 30 Jun, 12:52 (9 days ago) but there has been no follow up to that commitment.
We are now forced to write to SARS in attempt to correct Sanlam's mistake.
