On the 29th of June 2024 I hired a car with Thrifty Car hire who is now know as SANI Car Rental South Africa umhlanga branch, I returned the car on the 2nd of July 2024. They charged me R18 000 deposit and up until today I have not received it, I have made numerous attempts contacting them and the employees at the branch are not able to assist as refunds aren’t done at the branch, I called the head office in Gauteng and the lady I spoke to sent an email which wasn’t attended or responded to by anyone. I went to the branch and they say they are trying to get hold of the finance department about my issue and they say the refund was done on the 19th of july 2024 but can not provide me with the proof of payment, I have not received the payment and the branch employees can not help cause no one is attending my case at their finance department. i want my deposit
