Pathetic service and even worse food

<p>Today my colleague and I decided to order Sandwich Baron from the Branch in Benoni close to our work.</p> <p>We placed the order via their website @ 10h27 am in the morning, they only delivered @ 11h45 even though the delivery address is only 2.5km away from us ; Maybe 6 minutes drive max . </p> <p>Upon Delivery the Driver gave us the food took the cash and left before we could even check the food.</p> <p>We ordered AND paid for extra mushrooms on both our orders.</p> <p> </p> <p> .... . Even though we paid for it we did not get extra mushroom on either of the two orders and when we phoned in to ask about it the lady who answered the phone was extremely rude and very unprofessional. After requesting her to please sort it out for us she put us on hold. When she eventually got back on the phone she said she will send the container with the mushrooms and put the phone down without even saying goodbye...</p> <p>After waiting a while they eventually delivered the mushrooms and the driver just walked in put the mushrooms on the first desk at the door and walked out again.</p> <p>The quality of the food is absolutely horrific.</p> <p>The Banting box seemed like it was last week’s stock as the chicken drum sticks were tacky, dry and hard all the way through and the side where it was laying on was snotty, the cucumber and tomato was wilted and I did not even dare try the cream cheese.</p> <p>The Steak and Cheese French loaf was supposed to be on brown bread but they gave white, and tasted like they had burned the steak.</p> <p>This is not the first time we order from this branch and we have problems nearly every time, at one incident the Driver took 3 hours before delivering and they always seem to mess up the order .</p> <p> </p> <p>Enough is enough where is the customer service or Quality Sandwich Baron is supposed to offer.</p> <p> </p>
