Food Poisoning from Sandwich Baron

<p>On Monday 13th June 2016 I ordered myself and a colleague a chicken mayo french roll from Sandwich Baron Fourways (Kingfisher). It was the only thing I had to eat the entire day, when I got home from work I was nauseous and vommited the remainder of the sandwich. I couldnt keep anything down, and Tuesday was taken to Krugersdorp Medical Clinic, it was confirmed I had food poisoning and I was put on a drip . My colleague experienced the same illness! And apparently this isnt the first time our staff have got sick from their food, unfortunately I was unaware of this!</p> <p> </p> <p>The manager Cindy-Lee was contacted by my boss with a complaint, and all she could say was that it was definitely not her food ! And got very defensive. I then contacted her myself and she also stood by her words that it was NOT their chicken and said I could contact other people who ordered the same thing or get the health inspectors to come to her branch. She also informed me that by Mid July the stall would be taken over by new management/ownership? Perhaps there is a reason behind this?</p> <p> </p> <p>Now im not one to complain often but I can 110% confirm that my food poisoning was indeed from the chicken mayo french roll ordered from Sandwich Baron Fourways, a franchise that is meant to specialiase in gourmet sandwichs? PLEASE BE CAUTIOUS WHEN ORDERING FROM THEM.</p>
