Sandton Traffic Department

I write this review a very disappointed law abiding ciitizen I awaited my turn a booked online for the renewal of my driver's license. Today the 25th of March 2020 I visited Sandton Traffic Department (Marlboro) to renew my drivers license following a confirmed online booking. Only to be to be turned back without prior and proper communication. Firstly upon arrival the inquiry desk was empty,staff started to leave the work stations one by one in the presence of service users. Upon equiring we were told to leave and come back the next day at 8h00 as the station was closing at one due to reasons relating to Covid19. This does not make sense and is totally impeding the rules of social distancing. I forsee chaos because if everyone is informed to come back at 8h00 the next day,this crowd will join the people with existing appointments for the next day i.e the 26th. This is double the numbers and equals chaos.
