Sandton Repo Cars

I recently bought a car from Sandton repo cars from the sales person nameed Joe. A week later and the first time I really took the car on the road for a drive its started overheating and giving all kinds of problems. This is after Joe had guaranteed on several occasions that the car is mechanically in execellent conditions. His words to be exact. When I contacted him to inform him of what has happened he tries to avoid me to such an extent that I literally had to keep asking over and over for his managers details so I can take the matter up with the manager names Darshan. Dashaan has on several occasions asked me to bring the car in so they can have it repaired and on each occasion I went to fetch the car it still had the problem. Which makes me wonder if they actually really did anything. Eventually he then referred me to the guy who deals with their resolutions names Langa. After weeks of contact with Langa he comes back and says they found the problem and mechanic to fix it but I have to pay 50 percent. I explained and even sent them a copy of the consumer protection act which clearly indicates that the vehicle must be in good working conditions for atleast 6 months from the time you purchase it. Despiting showing them the legal standing and at no point have they disputed the legal position but yet request me to pay to fix the car. Not to mention how terribly and awful thr service is that the entire company provides. I would never recomend anyone to this company. It's my biggest regret. I have however taken it up with the ombudsman and hope to get the relief is seek.
