Gift card - never again!!

In July last year I was given a Sandton City gift card for my birthday. I made a purchase at Musica with no problem leaving a balance of R290.00 on my card. In September of 2017 I gave my card to my son to purchase some sporting goods for me from Mr Price sports. The payment was debited from my card but according to Mr Price Sport it did not go through. My son paid cash for the purchase and eas told that the gift card would be credited. In December I checked the card and no credit I went to the information desk and was told to bring the manager from Mr Price Sports to him so this could be sorted out. The manager was not available and a young temporary assistant was sent to the information desk with us. She was given a form and I was told that my gift card would be credited in 5 days. Nothing happened. 2 weeks ago my daughter was in Sandton City and again went to the information desk and once again given the run around and was told the card would be credited in 5 days. As at today still no credit. In the past I have often buy Sandton gift vouchers as gifts for friends as well as for business, but if this is how Sandton City treat their customers I am taking my business elsewhere.
