Sandton Hair and Beauty Salon - a *******

<p>I was disgusted with the service I received from the owner at Sandton Hair and Beauty Oasis.</p> <p>Our appointment was at 1pm we arrived at the Salon at 12.50pm promptly for my daughter’s appointment. We waited 40 minutes until someone attended to us. When they did eventually take her in, one of the assistants washed her hair while we waited for the owner Meera to cut her hair. When she finally came to cut her hair she spent 5 minutes with her and then moved to the next client, while we waited again. We asked her to cut it a bit shorter but she insisted that when it dries it will be shorter, however this was not the case and when she returned much later to see her again and I asked her to cut it a bit more as it needed to be at a certain length for school,. She said she would need to wet it again, which she did and then proceeded to cut it again. A few minutes later she was gone to assist another customer and another assistant dried her hair. This was now 2 hours later since we arrived and the salon was now closing. When I went to pay with a voucher I purchased via a groupon special, she refused to honour it yet I notified them that I would be redeeming a voucher. She charged me double the price than what I would have paid over and above the money I had spent on the voucher therefore I ended up spending 3 times as much. She was very rude and unprofessional. She mentioned that this was how she operates business and if she had to cut 1cm extra off the length her charge would be double. I do not understand this logic as all she did was merely wet her hair again yet the price doubled. So I paid the bill and vowed to never make use of their services again</p> <p> </p> <p>After I had left, she started screaming to her staff and I don’t believe this to be a very professional behaviour of an employer </p> <p> </p> <p>I am really disgusted with her attitude and the poor customer service received from Meera.</p> <p>She has very poor work ethic, no integrity and is very greedy.</p> <p> </p> <p>They embark in a false advertising to draw customers and when customers make use of their services they are ridiculed and **********.</p> <p>I would not recommend this Salon to my worst enemy and hope that other patrons keep this in mind when making use of their services</p> <p> </p>
