Disappointing

I have used Sandton Appliances for many years, they are pricey but they managed to fix my washing machines. However, my very old speedqueen washing machine needed repair, which was collected, a deposit was paid by myself. I was then informed that the machine needed a new motor at about the same cost as a new machine. I declined to have it fixed as I said I could buy a new one for that price. I was never given an option of getting a refurbished motor put in nor was I asked if I would like to s**** my machine. I drove past their workshop and low and behold there is my Speed Queen sitting outside "for sale" for R3500.00. I was furious as I was never afforded the curtesy of being asked if it could be s****ped or if they could refurb to sell. I was met with many stories and never able to state my case. I do not recommend them to any one needing appliances fixed.
