Poor service

Mercedes Sandton is useless. Never have I had such poor service. My husband has an Audi and the service centers are excellent.

My car was giving trouble for a couple of months..the steering wheel would jerk. Mercedes Northcliff (which closed down now) didnt take me seriously even after 2 services with them.

My car broke down in Fourways Fridays ago. The call center was given exact pick up details fo send out a technician, they gave the wrong details to the guy..I waited long for him. Then the tow truck guy was also given the wrong details, he took over 2 hours to get place. That was the Friday. The next week comes and call center calls to rate service on my car. I daid what are you talking about, its not fixed and no one has called me. Eventually a day or more later they call me giving me diagnosis on my car but then call me a day later to say its the wrong car. Another call comes through asking to rate service. I say my car is not fixed. Theywere trying to locate my car. Then another day later they call to say they think its the alternator but need to get authorisation from Mercedes SA and would take another day then they can start. By that time it was Friday. I get a call to say my car will be ready on Monday..today.. girls at reception send me to have coffee. They are calling to get my car brought to me. Im waiting and waiing. No one comes. Whats the point of the girls. Only to find out they never called Eclin..the guy who was taking me to my car. We eventually go tomy car. Something is still wrong. Its late im am sitting here and Imust eait to see if they can fix it. We are going into 2nd week now. They still dont have a courtesy car for me. Ive been here an hour. I will never ever come to Mercedes Sandton again. In fact..i used to love Mercedes but the service is a massive let down. So dissappointed. Eclin is great..Muneeb is great so if I rate them personally.. they get full marks.
