Faulty Parts
I bought Glow Plugs for my Jeep from Sandown in March 2013. they failed 5 months later. Glow Plugs normally last 2 to 3 years. I filled in a Parts Failure Claim on the 10 December 2013 after agruments flying back and forth. Refer Ricardo Frieslaar, Deon Mitchell, Tony Benjamin. All 3 people never called back from 09 December to 29 December 2013. I finally took my car in for inspection. They were dishonest on the job card by stating \Cylinder head in poor condition as only water escaping on starting the car. Needs to be removed and sent to Engineers as head cylinder is cracked and in a BAD state". After MANY phone calls to Adele Nel (Dealer principle) without any sucess.I drove the car for another 15 months with NO REPAIRS to the cylinder head. I have many people including the authorised Motorite mechanics that has always worked on my car as proof. I sent in an Assitance Request Form to the Motor Industry Ombudsman of South Africa. That was on the 21 January 2015 and again on the 04 February 2015. The MIOSA sent Sandown Motors a letter asking them to respond in 10 DAYS and a month later another letter giving them 48 hours to respond. Person who has never called from MIOSA. Mr Bodile"""
