Bad overall service & ****med on car kilometers
Hello Peter,
I bought my car last year, 2017 in Sandown Mercedes Benz. Simon Ngcobo was my salesperson.
I'd be lying if I said that the service I got when I was in Sandown was bad; that is pre-purchase/sale. The service was excellent, maybe that was because the commissiom wasn't payed out yet, well I don't know.
Anyways. Simon (aka Simo) found a demo Mercedes Benz CLA for me, that was the only car the bank would pay for (according to what he told me) because of my credit record. I was told that the CLA had less than 10 000 kilometres, Simo even added that its 9500 kilometres (I have a text confirming this as proof).
When I received my car it was more than 11 000 kilometres. I never got an explanation as to what happened to my kilometres, nor did I get an apology.
I have reported this to Mercedes Benz Head Office and to the Manager at Sandown and still no explanation.
I feel like I made the biggest mistake buying these people. Firstly, Simo didn't hand over the car to me. It was shipped to a branch he knows he has no relationship with, only for me to get the car soaking wet. After paying so much deposit on my car, finding that it spent a weekend in the rain. As a result I had an anxiety attack that weekend because of Sandown Mercedes Benz.
With that bit, all I got from the Manager from Sandown was "I am not sure of what you want me to do" then arranged that I "received my car again" with a ribbon from the branch, hahaha a car I have been paying since November ??? to "re-receive" (is that even a word?) Am I 5 ? ?
I feel like they think they are dealing with a child.
Also, Simo sent my car without the gift I requested. To update you all, I have been waiting for that Mercedes Benz bag since October. He sent me a picture of it, claiming he is going to post it ?? I've been waiting!!
Spoke to his manager who claims that she has ordered the bag. I mean, I have a picture of my bag - why is it on order now?
I am done with Sandown Mercedes Benz hey!
