Extremely disappointed – brand new SanDisk SD card *******ed irreplaceable work

I am beyond disappointed and upset with SanDisk. I used a brand new SanDisk SD card to shoot a wedding where the SD card worked 100%. The following week, I used the same SD card for a styled shoot where I collaborated with several vendors. Everything appeared to work perfectly at the time of shooting. A day later, when I attempted to upload the images to my laptop, the SD card read as ‘unable to display’ and *******ed all of my photos. This caused so many problems. I spent days using recovery software to salvage the images. Even now, some photos remain permanently *******ed, and the recovered files are no longer in chronological order, completely disrupting my workflow and editing process. As a professional photographer, this has: - Created enormous stress and emotional strain - Put my work and reputation at risk - Wasted days of time and energy - Left my entire post-production process in chaos Memory cards are supposed to be reliable—especially from a brand like SanDisk that professionals trust. This failure has had real consequences for my business, my vendors, my clients, and my peace of mind. I expected far better quality and reliability. At this point, I have lost all trust in this product and am extremely disappointed in a brand that markets itself as “professional-grade.”
