Sandak Lewin & Trustees Avoiding Responsibility on Water Damage Issue

Sandak Lewin and the Trustees of Sanford Hall have failed to take action on an ongoing water ingress issue that does not originate from my unit, yet I continue to suffer damage and financial prejudice.

They claim they have no authority to act and instructed me to lodge another CSOS dispute, while refusing to provide trustee details - making it difficult to proceed.

This has now become a health and safety issue, not just property damage. Their lack of accountability, transparency, and urgency is unacceptable. I have been left dealing with a problem entirely outside of my control.

The matter is now being escalated further.

Dear Laura.  We understand this matter has been ongoing and that the outcome of today's hearing was not what you had hoped for.

Sandak-Lewin Trust operates within the framework of sectional title legislation and within the requirements of POPIA, both of which govern what steps are available to us and what information we are able to share. Where disputes fall within the CSOS jurisdiction, that process exists precisely to adjudicate matters between owners and the Trustees or between owners, and we have directed you accordingly and cooperated fully.

Should you wish to escalate or lodge a further application through the appropriate channels, we will continue to cooperate with that process. You are welcome to continue to liaise with our offices and we will assist as we have done over the last three years.
