Paid R5,070 on 10 August — no delivery, no response for 10 days
On 10 August 2026 I paid R5,070.81 by card via PayFast for order #7069 (invoice 117): 10 cubic meters of lime mortar sand with delivery to Hout Bay, Cape Town. The website sandonline.co.za promises same-day or next-day delivery for paid orders. Ten days have passed: nothing has been delivered. The company publishes no phone number, and their only contact channel (email) has ignored all my messages, including a formal notice. The invoice names the legal entity K*** SOUTH AFRICA (PTY) LTD. The website claims the business has operated "since 1995", yet the site itself only appeared in 2023 and the company was registered in 2017. I have opened a dispute with PayFast and a chargeback with my bank, and I am preparing reports to SAPS and the National Consumer Commission. Avoid paying this company online until they prove they actually deliver. If Sand Online resolves this, I will update my review.
