Uninterested

I received a text AND a call yesterday to please donate last night in my area. We rushed there after work to be able to make it before 19:00 only to be greeter by uninterested staff. I asked whether my fiance could still register and was told it was fine as it was still 18:40 but after completing most of his questionnaire she must have realised what I asked and said that it's too late now as they leave at 19:00 - there was still at least 7 people donating at the time so they would not leave by 19:00 anyway? What a horrible way to welcome people?<br> <br> I wanted to donate but had an operation in Feb and wasn't sure if I would be allowed, told the same person all the details and had no issues.
