This is a sad story to tell :(

Good day All,

I am deeply sadden by the SANBS to decide no longer to make use of my blood due to the fact I have decided to take PreP. At the same time I try to understand there misconception that people who have decided to take the drug are reckless in what they doing.

Just as we use ******s as a precautionary measure, Prep is also another effective precautionary method used. I understand that the SANBS have a criteria to uphold and I hope that in the near future this will change.

As per there current policy they have no problem with the drug itself but the activity that the individual is taking it for. This is a very sad assumption to make but never the less I am not willing to compromise my negative status and they willing to not save a life which I feel is a fair deal.

I will continue in safe guarding my negative status and maybe one day they will appreciate the fact that I have tried my utmost best to keep my blood safe to save others life. For now it will be farewell until the policies changes.
