Disgraceful SANBS Staff Member

While we all fear getting Covid, I still donate blood every 56 days to help save lives. As a single Mother, I have no choice but to take my child with me. Usually, the friendly SANBS staff at Sanridge Square in Midrand sanitise her and let my daughter sit by the door so I can watch her while donating blood. Its understandable to not allow children inside but today was the first time ever I was met with grandiose ********* rude behaviour from a SANBS staff member. I have never seen this woman before but clearly she was having a bad day having to work on a public holiday. She refused to have my child near the door and said she was not allowed in. I told her that the staff let my child sit by the door but she would not have any of it. So I must either leave my 7 year old locked alone in a boiling hot car or she must sit outside among strangers in a shopping centre carpark while I am inside the marquee. This lady needs to get a lesson in etiquette and learn that by turning us away today, she has tarnished the reputation of the SANBS. The other staff just sat there looking at us as if we were idiots. So sorry to those who could have used my blood, but I have been put off donating forever.
