discriminatory,rude behaviour and poor customer service

on saturday 6/3/2021 i went to donate blood at monument donor centre in krugersdorp

i was received by a gentleman who assisted in doing necessary tests before donating

then another staff member ntonano arrived and literally grabbed the form from my hand without any acknowledgement or greeting and let me find a chair,i explained to him that i prefer using my left arm as i struggle when donating blood with my right arm

he then looked at me and made a mxm sound .upon inserting the needle i could feel that he was intentionally trying to hurt me

furthermore this guy was very unfriendly to me but speaking to other donors of a different race very nicely ,he then brought a juice to me that did not have a straw.i showed him this and he brought another juice and threw it on my lap making nasty comments to a female colleague(who was equally unfriendly) about me .it was clear that i was being discriminated against in this facility as other donors were treated very friendly by these staff members ,after finishing my donation i usually get a card to remind me of my next donation.i had to ask for it and received it incomplete

i reported this to sanbs customer service centre and spoke to soraya it was promised that it will be followed up ,but after 5 days i called again and found that nothing was done,i asked for it to be escalated as i was not getting any answers and was called by area manager named mabasa who promised to follow up

neither sanbs or the manager was ever heard from again and its a month later now

yet they keep insisting that they urgently need blood stocks

i will never donate a drop of blood to sanbs again after this experience
