Pathetic Service

I purchased a pair of genuine leather boots from San Marina, Canal Walk, on the 09/05/2015, for R2899.99.<br> After two-three weeks the heel of the boot is damaged, not due to wear and tear, but because the side of the heel has chipped. . Considering the price tag of R2899.99 I returned the boot to the store on the 24/05/2015, and was advised by Lameez that my pair of boots was probably the bad pair in the batch. I was advised that they needed to send them in for inspection. On the 28/05/2015 I advised by Lameez that they do not just hand out new pairs of boots and that they only guarantee the upper and not the heel of the boot. At no stage did I request a refund of purchase price but merely requested that the damaged pair of boots be replaced. They however refused to replace the boot and also would not allow me to escalate my complaint any further to the regional/national manager.<br> San Marina attaches exorbitant price tags to poor quality shoes, which literally break after two weeks (and I would like to reiterate again not due to wear and tear). They should be disgusted in their poor customer service and exchange/returns policy.
