Warrentee - whats that???

I have a new Samsung S6 edge, only 8 month in, the LCD went, after phoning Vodacom with who I have insurance they referred met to Samsung who gives a warrentee on the LCD within a year. I gave it in, and then received an invoice, after querying this they said that only part of this is covered and not all. please explain to me how a faulty devise can now have some parts covered and some not, seems like Samsung is the same as all the other companies, promising a lot but when they need to deliver don't. really disappointed as I always defend my Samsung against my Iphone friends, but seems like I also need to make the move. my phone ref nu TVSA028599
