Warranty Void, due to over heating phone

On the 22nd of December 2016, I took my SAMSUNG S6 edge for a check-up at the SAMSUNG SHOP at the Mall Of Africa in Midrand as it was over heating. My phone was fully functional at this point, the service agent - Phumlani then reset the phone to factory settings but the phone was still too hot but functional.

The service agent then tried to load fresh SAMSUNG OS software on the phone, after that the phone was no longer usable. He then said to me, I should not worry as the phone main board was damaged and it will be booked in at their repair centre for a board replacement - as the phone was under warranty.

On the 5th of January 2017, I received a call from the SAMSUNG repair centre telling me that my warranty is voided because I loaded "something"(software) on the phone. I then asked the repair centre to call the agent at the Mall Of Africa, who explained to the repair centre that the phone was fully functional when I brought it to him. It only became unresponsive after he tried loading software. I was then called back by the repair centre agent - Lesego to tell me that my warranty was now no longer void and they have instructed a technician to replace the phone board.

Today on the 9th of January 2017 I called the repair centre to check on the status quo, to be told by Brandon - The SAMSUNG Repair Centre Manager that my warranty was again void and I would need to pay for the repairs. I then asked him to please get my phone back to the state that it was in before I took it in to SAMSUNG and to give me specifics on the "something" that I loaded on the phone. I was then told that my phone is no loger usable and I should lay a complaint if I want to. But nothing is going to change.

TO SAMSUNG HEAD OFFICE: Is this how you treat your clients? Should we as consumers go through such difficulty to get our devices repaired? What is the way forward regarding my device, as it was working before going into your shop? Can you provide us as consumers with the list of "somethings" aka softwares that we should shouldn`t load on our phones?
