VERY POOR SERVICE CENTRE _- MM ALL ELECTRONICS

Hi

i have been having issues with the Samsung service center for most of this year.

i reported it to samsung on a few occasions and cc them on the emails and complaints to the service centre. besides the first response months ago, Samsung have done nothing to resolve the issue and they have ignored every email since then.

while i like the samsung products, i am very much against the outsourced serviuce centre as this is where quality is really compromised.

the thought of ever having to deal with samsungs service center again is motivation enough to start considering other brands.

my tablet has been with MM ALL electronics for months. they failed to fix the issue and now claim that it is out of warranty. well, it was in warranty when it arrived there and since they have ****ed around for more than 6 months its no wonder it might now be out of warranty. this is a great trick to get out of any warranty. maybe bmw should keep your car for 5 years till the motorplan runs out and then show you a toffee....????

please fix!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

here is some of the previous corrspondemce with mm all electronics. this is not all of it but various people at samsung have all teh info and have done nothing about it. they haven't even responded to me to tell me that maybe i'm wrong...

i am not wrong and i'd like you to fix urgently and i would like an extended warranty on my device as i have lost the benefit of the warranty while it has been lying at your service centre for months on end.

starts here:

terrible service and deceipt

I've had a few dealings with MM All Electronics and none have ended well.

here are the highlights of my most recent:

i have a Samsung tablet under warranty.

it started giving trouble. struggling to charge and powering off early regardless of good battery %.

mm all said it was the charging unit which they would replace. this would be under warranty...

they later claimed that it was the battery which was out of warranty because the battery only has 12 months warranty, not the full 2 years like the rest of the device.

i asked whether the new battery would then have 12 months warranty.

they said ZERO warranty as it was an accessory.

in two emails mm all tried to explain away any warranty on the new battery.

i did not accept and queried with Samsung. Samsung apologized for mm all's incorrect comments and confirmed that the new battery would have 6 months warranty.

despite Samsung’s confirmation of 6 month warranty, mm all only ever admitted to a 3 month warranty, even though they twice prior stated no warranty.

i paid the R900 for a new battery.

they then returned to me somebody else’s tablet and gave mine to somebody else. sloppy but accidents happen.

when i eventually got my tablet back about a week later it still was not right. i complained about it and sent it back.

they said that there were loose wires/connection inside and they fixed it. these loose connections could only have come from their previous work on the tablet.

i got it back again and still had issues charging the unit. charging was intermittent and when lucky enough to get it to charge it would take 48 hours to charge up.

i complained about this and at this stage my emails were ignored by all 3 of the staff i was emailing, including the manager.

i was too frustrated to pursue the matter immediately.

knowing about the 3 months...i made sure to email them again before the 3 months was up. still no response from mm all.

i eventually complained to Samsung again and after this i received a response from Samsung and mm all.

they said to bring the tablet back. i assumed that they would finally make right.

to my dismay, they came back to me stating that there was wear and tear on an internal connection and i must pay roughly R350 to have it fixed.

how can we be liable for an internal part?

it was most likely an issue related to work done by mm all as the tablet was never right since it went in for the first repair.

plus the unit is under warranty. if there is an internal issue it should be covered under warranty.

there are a few issues here.

has been shocking and they **** to get out of any warranties.

they have tried to charge me for items that should be under warranty.

running the tablet back and forth 5 times cost me money plus the R900 for the battery it has cost me more than just buying a new tablet with new warranty.

the months that this has been an issue has resulted in much hassle for me, no tablet time... and the warranty period i should have benefitted from has now probably run out so instead of having the use of my tablet with the safety of a warranty, whatever condition i get this thing back, i may well have no warranty left to cover it in future...

this is a very disturbing experience.

i am a Samsung fan but the fear of using mm all again in future is enough reason to start considering other brands.

how would i like this to be resolved?:

i would like this tablet fixed urgently at no additional cost to me. i would like the full 6 months Samsung warranty on the battery to be valid from date of return of the tablet and i would like my overall device warranty extended by 6 months from date of return.

that would at least make me think that mm all and Samsung are trying to do good buy its clients.

Thank you.

after much following up and again being referred from one department to another, this case remains unresolved and service remains pathetic.
