VERY DISAPPOINTING - Inferior Quality

<p>For the past 15 years I've been a very loyal brand ambassador for Samsung appliances and electronics.</p> <p>However, as of late I have been extremely disappointed in the quality of the products that have been "pumped out" of the Samsung factories. I understand the need for cutting costs and being competitive but this has gone far enough!!! Samsung quality is definitely not what it used to be, it is inferior.</p> <p>My Samsung microwave purchased 8 years ago was solid and when I had to replace it two months ago the plastic metal looking alternatives were pathetic. However, since I've always believed in the brand I bought it - to my disappointment. </p> <p>In June I purchased side-by-side fridge/freezer and noticed that they are very easily dented - the metal is so thin that even small amounts of pressure on the doors result in ghastly dents. Brand new fridge (RR35H6110SS) door has to be replaced for a minimum of R3000!!!! No other alternatives were offered when I called the service centre. Now we must endure looking at the dents of our new fridges (which were not cheap) until we can replace the doors - if ever!! </p> <p>I'll bet there will be more people that will concur with me on this!</p> <p>Absolutely appalling quality. Very disappointing for a once great brand. My loyalty towards Samsung is no more....</p>
