Unwilling to accept responsibility for design flaw: Cracked Camera Lens

Dear Samsung

With reference to my previous email dated 14 November 2016 which went unresolved.

It had now come to my attention that similar cases of broken lenses were reported to Samsung before: Consumerist: Samsung Galaxy S7 Owners Say Camera Glass Shatters Unexpectedly. http://google.com/newsstand/s/CBIwjLSc9jI . It seems very suspicious that there are plenty of similar cases yet Samsung is not willing to accept responsibility for a potential design flaw...

I've been a Samsung supporter for years and currently own 4 Samsung mobile devices after plenty of previous Samsung mobile; upgrades ever so often. Is this how I am going to help treated by Samsung? If so, this is my farewell message and I will no longer support Samsung as I expected more from a reputable, luxury brand...

I am not willing to send in my phone for assessment, it is highly inconvenient and furthermore unnecessary since I know the lens is cracked and I am not willing to pay R400 for an assessment or alternatively a few thousand for a repair. It is unreasonable and shocking to expect that of customers...

Why does Samsung not want to assist me? Why is this not a warranty claim? Surely impact marks would have been very visible if it damaged by the consumer...
