Unhappy Client

I took my phone for a battery replacement on the 18th of June 2020 and approximately 2 hours later the phone stopped working. I took it back to the store the next day and I was informed that its the screen that no longer functions, I have to replace it. The screen was partially cracked but fully functional when I took it in for the battery replacement. I was given 2 options: they'll find me an old cracked screen or I get a new one, less the price paid for the battery. A new screen costs R 3580. There's no way I could have opted for an old screen that I have no idea where it comes from and what are its shortcoming.s The most irritating part is that the technician didn't want to acknowledge that the fault is with Samsung because the phone was fully functional when I took it in, the challenge was that I had to charge it 3 times a day, hence I decided to replace the battery. The service was pathetic, I mean the only reason I took it specifically to Samsung is so that I get professional and a quality service. The technician never exercised diligence in his work . Now i'm without a phone and financially inconvenienced because I had to pay for a battery and a screen which is essentially amounts to a price of a new phone.
