unable to redeem gear vr on samsung rewards- False advertising

<p>I purchased a Samsung galaxy s7 on 25 November 2016. There is a promotion running until 31 December for a free gear vr when you purchase a Samsung galaxy s7 or s7 edge. This has to be redeemed on the Samsung rewards app. Every time I log on that option isn't even on the app. I see I am not the first person to experience this. SO WHY ADVERTISE THIS? Is this how Samsung trys to get customers and then unable to deliver????? How can I redeem my gear vr???? I hope this doesn't drag on to 31 December and then told that the promotion is over!!!! </p>
