This is why Samsung is cheaper than Apple

I took my Samsung Galaxy Note 9 in to Samsung’s authorized service center, TT3 Repairs, in Port Elizabeth for repairs 5 times since owning the phone brand new in October 2018. Each time I took it in I had to drive 2 hours to PE to drop it off and then 2 hours again to pick it up whenever I got a day off. I was spending my off days trying to get my phone fixed. First the main camera was faulty which was repaired. But since the repair the front camera was blurry and showing blank pixels on photos. It when in for repairs for a 2nd time this time fore the front camera. Picked up the phone for and the phone wouldn’t charge using an original Samsung charger initially. Took the phone back to TT3 Repairs and they said that I damaged the phone and had to pay cash for the repair. Being desperate for a phone I paid for the repair just to save myself time instead of driving another total of 4 hours to get the phone repaired. A two weeks later the phone needs to go in for repairs again because the speaker is rattling. This time the phone was couriered to the repair center and back to me after the repair. I had the phone for another two weeks until it was said to have liquid damage and the battery was draining dramatically fast. A water resistant phone that was never dropped in any liquid was said to have liquid damage. It being the 5th time the phone went in for a defect I requested that the phone be replaced because it’s clearly defective or TT3 Repairs has no idea how to service the phone properly. The replacement was approved by Samsung and I was told by TT3 that I’ll receive it by Friday the 7th June 2019. Friday came and I was told that the replacement is still waiting courier collection. Today on Monday 10th June 2019 I’ve emailed TT3 and still haven’t received a response. For record, most of my emails lately don’t receive responses so have to phone in myself to get updates. I should be kept updated not look for updates. I phoned TT3 today and the lady said she’ll give the employee I’ve been dealing with the message because that employee was busy and couldn’t take the call. I phoned again then I’m told that the employee had already left for the day. How does an employee leave without responding to their emails and messages left for them? I get the feeling that I’m now being avoided. I spoke to another employee at TT3 and he said a replacement will take 2 MONTHS! I am paying for a phone that I don’t have for not only two month but for every month since February that it went in for repairs. This phone has been in for repairs more than it’s been in my pocket! Also I have copied the ********** email address on the latest correspondence with TT3. I’ve also called Samsung and they said I must wait 24-48 hours for someone to get back to me. I will never buy a Samsung phone again. This has been the most pathetic after sales support I have ever dealt with.
