The worst TV repair back up I have ever experience

I purchased a Samsung 55 inch TV just over 2 years ago from Makro, so the 2 year warranty had expired which meant that I would be responsible for the repairs. I went to Makro because they have a Samsung expert that offers advice! After many phone calls I was told to take the TV to Samsung service centre in Woodmead! Knowing that this might be a problem I rather went to the store personally and asked them what the process would be, only to be informed that they do not repair TV's at those premises. They referred me to the infamous Company in Rivonia that is not a Samsung repair shop but some or other electronic Company. I called them and explained what was wrong with the TV for a rough estimate on what the repairs would cost! To my disgust the repairs would be more the buying a new TV !!! This is disgusting for a Company the size of Samsung who at the time of me buying Samsung products for almost every single appliance in my house because I was sold the two year warranty and thereafter an excellant number of repair centres around the Gauteng area! I will now replace all my appliances as and when they stop working! Leave the country or invest in the Country!!!
