Thank you for your atrocious service Samsung

Last year when the S8 was released my wife and I upgraded to the S8 devices, 3 months later she discovered small hair line cracks on her screen without the device being dropped once.

Without even thinking that the device might be faulty we booked the device in for the screen to be replaced, not even a full 3 months later the same type of cracks in the same area appeared. How is this possible for the screen to have the same type of cracks on almost the exact same spot.

We then called a technician to do an assessment on the device because how is this possible if my wife takes such good care of her devices (that is what the technician also said), he then sent through the report last year December I think around 27th or 28th for Samsung Johannesburg to review.

Samsung never got back with any feedback until my wife called them today, today they just sent (in an email) high level feedback to say the screen of the phone can't just crack pressure caused it. What pressure??? My wife does not carry her phone in tightly confined spaces.

Then Shaun Reddy who told me himself that he isn't very technical refuses to put me through to a Senior Manager or Product Specialist to give me more detailed feedback. All this after we were patiently waiting for an entire month for feedback he refuses to put me through. What type of business are you running???

A device can't just explode on it's own - I guess that is what they told the first customers who complained about the exploding Note 7.

I am such a loyal Samsung follower and owner, almost all our electronic devices in our household are Samsung - from TV's, Microwaves, Aircon, Washing machines and cellphones all samsung and all high end products.

Between my wife and I we had 8 premium (s4 x 2, Note 3, S5, S6 edge x 2 and now s8 x 2) samsung devices. I am not willing to pay for Samsung's faulty products. I already spent over R10 000 per device and now you want me to pay R3500 every 3 months to replace screens.

Samsung please take responsibility for you faulty devices.

Regards, Baartman
