Terrible service
My 51 inch full HD plasma had a screen failure two years after purchase. Samsung agreed to replace the panel at no cost as it was agreed that this was unacceptable in terms of a screens lifespan.

Less than a year later, the screen failed again. I first sent the Samsung repair centre several electronic messages to contact me to which I got no reply. I then called Samsung directly. Mary Maponya confirmed that Samsung SA would replace the panel again and at no cost to myself. I was happy with this offer.
I then heard nothing from Samsung regarding when they would replace the panel. After several e mails to Mary to which I received no reply, I eventually had to call her to try and get some feedback from her. By this stage, almost two weeks had passed since Samsung agreed to replace the screen.
Mary then told me that there was no screen in stock and that they would have to offer me a depreciation deal.
To my horror, I was then told that I must pay in R7000 to get a replacement plasma.
This is not acceptable as Samsung first agreed to replace my screen at no cost.
I have then spent an entire week trying to reach the manager (Sylvester) who refuses to call me back.
Shocking service.
