Tardy Samsung QLED repair service
Good day,
I bought a very expensive Samsung QLED TV in 2019. I started showing lines all over the screen at start up after a month or 2. I thought nothing of it and then last year a white bright spot appeared in the miidle of the screen. Now there is 3. I called Samsung repair and was told I was out of warranty. Fair enough. I asked what is the process and payment for me to get this expensive TV set repaired. I was told a repair technician would contact me to arrange repairs within 3 days. No body contacted me. After 5 days I called again and was told my ticket was cancelled and I would get a new reference number: *** on the 25th of June. It is 1st July I have been messaging DTV Admin the repairer who asked me to send pics of the TV on/off and indicating the problem plus serial number pics. Nobody answers my messages as to when they will come to have a look at the TV. I am now budgeting for a new TV after the much hyped uselsee Samsung QLED and their tardy repair service. Imagine paying over R25k for a TV evry 2.5 years. After this nonsense and tardy service Goodbye Samsung. I have samunsg tvs for generations. What a disappointement.
