Suspected credit card cloning at Samsung
I bought a Galaxy phone at Samsung Eastgate in Johannesburg on the 2nd of September 2024, paying with my credit card registered in Europe. On the 5th, I was informed by the bank that my card had been blocked as It had been registered on a US commercial site, ready to be used by a third party. I can't prove that the staff at Samsung was responsible for cloning my card, but there is a strong suspicion, as that card is seldom used and only for large amounts. Please be careful with your mode of payment at that shop.
