Stay Away from Samsung Brands

I will never purchase a Samsung device again after the poor experience I have just received in the last few days. My Samsung phone was not working on fast charge and decided to take to Samsung, I was sent to weFix in Canal Walk, upon my arrival I explained to the technician that my phone is only charging on a normal cable. The guy came and with his charger and the phone worked on fast charge. He then plugged mine, it showed cable charge. I asked the guy just to confirm with his charger again, it showed as cable charge and not fast charge. He was puzzled and decided to re plug my charger and showed fast charge. He continued to book in my phone and whilst inspecting saw the phone some scratch or gash to it. He said that Samsung will decline the repair due to this dent. I was puzzled as this mark was nowhere near charging block. He then said he will book it in, I asked this guy if Samsung will come and inspect who he will assess, he said there is a process and never revealed much. I proceeded to ask if he thinks this charging issue is due to the dent as I knew he will be sending Samsung the report, he again said 'there is a process'. Now today they 'weFix' sends me a quote saying my repair warranty had been voided by Samsung cause of that dent ( which I repeat its not the cause for my intermittent charging issue). I call weFix but fail to get an answer till someone at head office managed to assist. The then store manager at weFix Adnaan explained this thing of Samsung again that for whatever issue if the phone has scratches or dents they void the warranty, bare in mind I have had my phone for 10 months. I proceeded to ask him who has a phone for that long and keep it spotless, clearly Samsung will never fix anyones devices. We were at a deadlock and he advised that I take it with Samsung. I called Samsung call center and a gentleman called Themba assisted he heard my story and when he and I also got to this deadlock he said to call customer complaints. I saw then that Samsung will not fix my phone as all these have been well drilled on not seeing adverse situation. I continued to call that customer complaints department, and the less said about my interaction with Pumla the better. Here is my thing that they dont even bother at looking at the charging block to see maybe that batch of phones has this issue, they try to trick you by this clause of theres of any damage to the phone the warranty is voided. Samsung South Africa has pathetic customer service and are quick to want score a buck from such, yes my repair is R1328.00 but imagine how many people take their phones there on a daily basis to such, they making a ****ing on repairs. No matter how many times I asked them to atleast assess the charging block they refused me telling me of this gash to the phone. I asked all three of the guys I spoked to how do they know I had dropped the phone cause if you drop a Samsung that screen would have been shattered, but the assessment form stated 'dropped damaged' but that question was never posed to me. I will finish off my contract with this phone but best believe I am going to iPhone or any other brand. So for everyone else that has a device of Samsung out there, if it malfunctions dont waste your time going to weFix thinking its under warranty they will find something to void it.
