Spares discontinued after 5 years
I have an 8 year old Samsung Fridge Freezer, on which the freezer shelves have cracked and broken. However, to my surprise, Samsung only keeps parts for appliances up to 5 years old, so I now need to replace the entire fridge-freezer as I am unable to obtain 2 cheap plastic freezer drawers. Samsung just hides behind "their policy".
