Smart care - How can we take your money!
My daughter slipped and fell into the pool at home with her S4. Insurance asked me for a damage report. Went to Samsung Smart care and explained the situation that it is for insurance. No problem, I just need to book the phone in. Asked me about backup and I rep****, no. All fine up to this point. Received damage report with quote. I went to collect the phone and I was asked to pay R200. I asked for what? So I was just told that it is for the quote. I was amazed and said that no one mentioned this when I explained that it was for an insurance quote. The lady said that you should have read the document before you signed.

I do agree, should have read the document but just thought it would be nice of their staff to inform you when you book anything in that there is a fee. I paid the fee, but the point is still that I have never heard of people charging you for a quote! This is a crazy. They are quick to ask if you need a backup, but slow to tell you about \small print"costs! DISGUSTING! Will try to avoid any Samsung products in future!"""
