Shocking service from Samsung!

I received a Samsung S7 Edge from Samsung Mobile as an Exchange Device on 01/06/2017 - my Samsung S7 which I only had for 3 months (I got my contract on 08/02/2017) was faulty and they replaced it with the S7 Edge. Since October 2017 this new S7 Edge phone has been closing my apps saying for example "Google Maps has stopped working". The phone then spontaneously reboots. At first it didn't happen very often, so I didn't think too much of it, but in time it happened more frequently. By November 2017 it happened up to 3 times a day. I went back to the Samsung Smart Care Centre in Contantia Park, only to find that they have permanently closed. I then went to the Samsung shop in Clearwater Mall. The technician explained that the phone needs a system update - he was able do it for me at an extra charge of R250 (he said that they don't work with warranties). He did the system update and I was very hopeful, only to find that a day later the phone still had the same problem. I phoned Samsung to get the proof of the Exchange Device I received from them and to find out where I must go next. They sent me a document with the S7 Edge details on, but without a date. Since then I've been asking them to resend the document as I need the date to prove that the device is still under warranty. The reply I got: "Please note that the warranty start counting with the old proof of purchase. It does not start counting with the exchange document. The date that appears on the document it shows the date of the unit that was invoiced out." I received my contract with my old device (S7) on 08/02/2017, so even if they use the old proof of purchase, it is still under warranty (1 year). Samsung referred me to WeFix in Clearwater Mall, only for them to show me away as they do not work with devices under warranty. They suggested that I go to MM All Electronics in Rivonia for further assistance. On 24 January 2017 I went to MM All Electronics and gave them all the necessary information. They sent my phone in and mentioned that they will keep me updated. They sent me a quotation of R9800.00 to get the phone fixed and claims that it can't be fixed under warranty. I sent the quotation to my insurance. They asked for a Damage report from Samsung stating the following: Confirm the cause of the damage and confirm why it can't be fixed under warranty. Confirm the cause of the faulty Main Board. I also asked for a copy of the warranty attached. The only reply I received from Samsung was: "We can only provide a damage report which would stated due to physical damage the unit warranty has been void. Quotation on part that is needed to repair the unit back to its original state." I still haven't received this damage report from Samsung. My insurance is not able to assist me as the phone is still under a Samsung warranty. Therefore they are not able to pay the claim. I have had bad experience upon bad experience with Samsung and have spent numerous hours trying to fix the problems that Samsung has caused me. I have always been a big Samsung Fan, but am now left with no option but to move to another provider if this doesn't get fixed.
