Shocking service

Three months ago I handed my Samsung Note 5 in to eFix in Brooklyn, Pretoria to have a cracked screen repaired. For three spares they were unable to obtain spares from Samsung. I collected my phone and they suggested I took my phone to Samsung at The Grove in Pretoria.

I took my phone to Samsung at the Grove in Pretoria on 22nd June. I have had three emails to tell me that they are awigint spares. I cannot get through to Samsung at the Grove as the the electronic switchboard cuts the calls off when they are tranferred.

I have spent an hour and a half trying to get through to anyone except a customer service agent who can only log a complaint. I am tranferred to "head office" for 17 minutes I am forced to listen to the most diabolical, brain bending music with no anwer to my call.

Evenutually after ANOTHER three calls I am placed back with a service agent who offers to log a complaint. After what is now a complete rant from me I am assured that a "manager" will call me back.

How is it that in HOng Kong you can have a screen rreplaced in 20 minutes and the supplier in South Africa cannot supply a screen in three months.

I was a SAMSUNG convert but after this level of service I will never touch another SAMSUNG product.

Reviewer Update

Thank you for the response and the action taken after I lost the plot this afternoon. I was contacted by Karabo and then the service centre and can confirm that the phone has now been repaired.

It is a pity that I needed to loose the plot totally before I received the service that should have been given in the first place.

Thank you for the assistance and I trust that my poor experience, and from the posts on Hello Peter, those of other SAMSUNG users, that your processes will be reviewed.

If your service can match your product, you would be streets ahead of any other mobile phone manufacturer.

I note that the Apple complaints are largely about the product and some aboutr service whilst the SAMSUNG ones are almost all about service.
