Shocking quality of 70 Inch Samsung LED TV
I bought a 70 Inch Samsung LED TV ( model code UA70TU7000KXXA) in September 2021 at HiFi Corp. The TV started giving problems in May 2022 and eventually had to be repaired because it kept on rebooting. I believe the problem was a faulty capacitator. The TV has packed in again with the same problem in January 2024. The TV is less then 3 years old and will now have to go in for repairs again, this time out of warranty. I am a supporter of Samsung products but the quality of this unit is really shocking and will probably influence my decision to buy TV's from this company again.

16 Jan 2024, 09:51Unfortunately Samsung will not accept any liabilities for products that fail shortly after their warranty expires. My TV lasted a whole 3 months after its warranty period to pack up and now requires major repairs. The OEM does not accept liability and it is left up to the consumer to deal with these matters. This is a worrying trend as I see it with other reviewers and will be very cautious of this brand going forward.
