Shocking aftercare customer service
I called Samsung on 28 March to report faulty dishwasher. I spoke to Dikeledi who gave me a reference number ********** 193. Paresh from Filter Connection came on Friday 29 March to assess the fault. He then informed me on Tuesday 2 April that he was fetching the part on the Wednesday and would install either that same day or the following day. Nothing happened. The following week when I was out of Joburg I contacted the company as Paresh rarely answers his phone. Melanie advised she would send a quote - which I was supposed to have received the week prior - and follow up. This didn't happen. On my return on Friday 12 April, I called Melanie who informed me the company was actually too busy and they couldn't attend to my repair!! I then called Samsung again and spoke to Murielle. I was then advised by Rebecca - a Samsung Service Tracking Agent (what a joke!!) - how much the repair would be and that Paresh would attend to the repair today, 16 April. It is now almost 4pm and I have heard nothing. When will companies realise that professional aftercare service is essential. If I were Samsung I would ditch Filter Connection immediately and deal with contractors who can deliver. Their "service tracking agents" should also be trained on the meaning of the title. I used to be Samsung brand loyal but no more after this experience.
