Screen Replacement
I recently, 21/12/2015 had my S6 edge cracked screen replaced by SMARTLAB in Tygervalley.
2 days after the new screen was fitted, my phone slipped out of my hand and dropped /- 20cm onto a wooden bar counter. The screen totally shattered from all corners. My opinion is that it was either NOT fitted correctly(screen under tension) or a generic cheap screen was fitted.
I then took it to Samsung at Century City, who confirmed that it had in fact been replaced with a generic screen, but I would need to take it up with the head office.
I left messages for the supervisor (***) who eventually returned my call last Friday.
However he claims it cannot be a generic screen, as they supply the screens and therefore nothing SAMSUNG can do.
Absolutely *******, as it is just impossible that it shatters from such a small drop. I have previously dropped my phone on numerous occasions on hard flooring etc, but NEVER did it shatter or break. I eventually got a hairline crack when my son accidentally sat on it.
Furthermore, how can he deny that it is a generic screen, when it has been confirmed by your Samsung Agents???
I even had to pay R654.00 for a common faulty button to be replaced
