Samung Passing the Bug and Not willing to assist
I upgrade my phone in Feb 15 at Vodacom to a Samsung S5 mini. The phone was giving problems since day 1. Loosing Data Network, Slow, Keyboard not responding. Mid March I booked the phone in to Vodacom for repairs where I was told I cannot get a loan phone. I received the phone back 5th April 2015 and re-booked it in on the 6th April as it has no Sim slot or Memory card slot.. Again the phone was send away. I received it back again on the 17th April and booked it back in again on the 18th April 2015 with the original problem. After a long wait and a fight Vodacom replaced the phone on the 30th April with a new S5 min. I had the phone for a week and doing exactly the same problem. I phoned Vodacom today and awaiting their response. I also phoned Samsung (Ref ***) where I was told to factory reset the phone and if not fixed I need resend it for repairs. This is unacceptable as I will not go without the phone again while its in for repairs. I do expect Samsung to step in and replace the phone with different model. I have noticed the S5 mini has been discontinued.
