Samsung/Unitronics – I want my money back

As many other disappointed people said already – I cannot write a review without giving a star but there should negative stars be implemented. I don’t know if one can name it *****, but I don’t know any other word for what happened to me with Samsung/Unitronics at Somerset Mall. On February28, 2018 I ordered at their Samsung/Unitronics shop, Somerset Mall a new Battery for my Samsung S5 mini. I got told, the delivery will take about one week and I will get a phone call when it arrives. 10 days later I went to the shop, but got told, I have to wait one week more. OK, so far. After another 10 days I got told, unfortunately the battery isn’t any more available. I wanted my money back and the Service Guy in charge told me, I may pop in on Saturday to collect my money in cash. However I didn’t understood why my debit card I paid with cannot be credited. This is usual practice of serious retailers. On that Saturday, the 24th of March the Service guy in charge told me, he didn’t got the money from the Headoffice and providing my bank details, they will do EFT on Monday, 26.03.2018. OK again, I gave my banking details and until today – 10.04.2018 the money has not been credited. Last week I send an email to ********** about the matter, no answer at all. Even though it’s “just” R430.00 I really think to bring the matter to my lawyer.

Reviewer Update
The response and "action" of Samsung can only make my frustration grow, because I now feel as though they "take me for a ride". On April 12th, a Lady of Samsung zaservice, named Aadilah phoned me, asked to scan and send the invoice and payment slip and promised me, I gonna get soon refunded with the money I paid. Next morning - of course - on the 13th of April I sent the requested documents by email, refering the reference number and provided again my banking details. Now, another week has passed by without any refund. Even though the invoice says "Unitronics" the Debit Card payment slip says Samsung Smart Care Service Center. So, if Samsung took my money for a battery that never has been delivered, Samsung must refund me!
