Samsungs pathetic after sales & misleading consultants

Hi all To start off with i have had a horrible experience .

Please follow email below send on 06/09/2017

Hi Charlotte On the 25.07.2017 I took my cell phone in for repairs. The problem I experience started the week before. On the 19 .07.2017 at 22:00 my phone requested that I activated a Full reset. As I was on standby that night I had to do the reset else my customers would not be able to log faults. After the reset I had numerus problems such as: · Not accepting my password even though I enter the correct password, and only after a restart was I able to was lock the phone. · Restarting on its own · Ringing but I’m unable to answer as there is no answer tab. · It would also delete all the contacts added on its own. I knew then that something must be wrong with the Main board as confirmed by Samsung Staff at the TygerValley branch. After providing them with proof of purchase for the phone which indicates that it’s still within the warrantee period I received communication to inform me that I need to Pay the costs of the repair since there is a Chip on the screen with a fine crack. Now please note that the LCD is not damaged, the phone operated 100% up until I was forced to reset it on 19 .07.2017. The chip / fine crack has nothing to do with the faults logged yet I am expected to fit the bill for the main PCB board. I have even requested (in an email) that the screen be left as it is, to just replace the broken part which in this instance is the main PCB board. Please advise how we move forward as I feel like someone that had his Car serviced on a service plan but needs to pay for it because the Wind screen has a Chip / fine crack. Also note the time span between logging the fault and this communication.

So that was miss leading. Please follow below: Hi Vincent Please explain to me in laymen’s terms. Are you saying that due to a thin crack in the screen which was not in any way having any effect on the operation of the phone as you would have obviously noted that the phone had a screen protector on it as well, Samsung will not honour its warrantee policy even though the phone was brought in for a Faulty Main Board and not the screen? May I please see a copy of this policy, please include the date when this policy came into effect. Also convey how this policy has been communicated to your clients, especially the fact that should the client have a valid claim, Samsung will not honour it’s warrantee policy if any chips, scratches or anything physical is found to be different on the phone other than discolouration due to normal handling, thus the phone should be in pristine condition before Samsung will do anything.

My last reply to Charlotte and friends on 26/09/2017. (Vincent lottering, adrian carvalho, jared geake, samsungcsp.tygervalley and samsungcsp.canalwalk.) Hi All It’s clear that Samsung does not care about service delivery, my cell phone was taken in to the Repairs shop on 25.07.2017 whilst the contract is still being payed to date (26 Sep. 17) and no response from Samsung. I find it strange that today in this digital age companies still don’t care about negative feedback especially online, Since no one wants to talk to me which is evident since I have requested feedback from Charlotte, I have tried to phone her and I’m still awaiting on me phone for 2 months now. I’m sure Samsung will deal better with the Consumer Protector. I also sure that Samsung will greatly appreciate Negative publicity since they have left me no alternative.
